Job summary

Concord Hospitality Brand in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Room Inspector (Senior Housekeeper) to uphold cleanliness and brand standards across guest rooms and public areas.

You will inspect daily, supervise staff, lead pre-shift meetings, and ensure smooth operations while maintaining safety and guest satisfaction. This is a full-time role in a hotel environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Prior hotel housekeeping experience preferred.
• Shifts start 8am on supervisor days off or 9am/10am on other days.
• Familiarity with StayPMS or similar PMS is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms and public areas daily to ensure cleanliness and brand standards.
• Supervise housekeeping staff, assign tasks, and lead pre-shift meetings.
• On supervisor days off, manage daily room assignments and distribute keys.
• Identify and report maintenance concerns and verify completion.
• Respond to guest requests and resolve concerns to enhance satisfaction.
• Maintain linen rooms, storage areas, and housekeeping carts.
• Train and coach team members on cleaning standards and safety.
• Monitor room status, key control, and reporting of cleaned rooms.
• Assist with cleaning duties as needed to meet daily goals.
• Promote safety, quality, and guest service in a positive team environment.
• Clean and inspect guest rooms and public areas daily to uphold standards.

We are hiring a Room Inspector (Senior Housekeeper)!

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning rooms to hotel guideline & cleaning practices. Inspect guest rooms and public areas daily to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and brand standards are consistently met.
• Supervise and support Housekeeping staff, ensuring productivity, quality, and adherence to procedures.
• On Supervisor days off, assign daily room assignments, distribute keys, and lead pre-shift meetings to set expectations.
• Identify and report maintenance concerns; verify completion to ensure rooms are guest-ready.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve concerns to enhance satisfaction.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of linen rooms, storage areas, and housekeeping carts.
• Train and coach team members on cleaning standards, safety practices, and performance expectations.
• Monitor room status, maintain key control, and ensure accurate reporting of cleaned rooms.
• Assist with cleaning duties as needed to support operations and meet daily goals.
• Promote a positive team environment focused on safety, quality, and guest service.
• Clean & Inspect guest rooms and public areas daily to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and brand standards are consistently met.

Qualifications:

• Those with prior hotel housekeeping experience in good standing will be given greater consideration.
• Shifts tend to start at 8am on Supervisor days off & 9am/10am on other days. Shift end depends on business demands.
• Computer Skills for room status monitoring via our property management system (StayPMS), scheduling, ordering, & inventory management.
• Additional language skills such as Spanish are a plus.
