Job summary

Waterford Hotel Group is seeking a Chief Engineer to oversee the physical building, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and related equipment. You will ensure regulatory standards, manage budgets, and lead the engineering team for efficient hotel operations.

Ideal candidates have at least three years in a Chief Engineer or facilities engineer role in hospitality, with strong knowledge of safety systems and building codes.

Qualifications

• Three years experience as a Chief Engineer or facilities engineer in a hospitality environment.
• Extensive knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and safety systems.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Manage building systems, energy conservation, and preventative maintenance.
• Oversee budgets, capital expenditure projects, and energy efficiency initiatives.
• Train, mentor, and develop the engineering team; schedule staff; coordinate activities.
