Job summary

Waterford Hotel Group is seeking a Chief Engineer to oversee the physical building, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and related equipment across its facilities. You will ensure regulatory compliance, manage budgets, capital projects, and energy conservation, while maintaining assets at the highest level.

The role includes training and mentoring the engineering team, scheduling staff, and coordinating all engineering activities to support smooth hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Three years experience as a Chief Engineer or facilities engineer in a hospitality setting.
• Extensive knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and safety systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and local building codes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee building systems and related equipment.
• Lead preventive maintenance and energy conservation programs.
• Manage budgets, capital projects and scheduling for the engineering team.
• Train, mentor and develop the engineering staff to support hotel operations.
