Job summary

Troutman Pepper Locke LLP is seeking a Senior HotDocs Coding Specialist to design and implement automated document generation solutions and integrate Generative AI tools into legal workflows. You will collaborate with attorneys and staff to deliver scalable templates and automation across contracts, pleadings, and client communications.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in document automation within a law firm or corporate legal environment.
• Proven ability to apply AI, automation, and related technologies to simplify and streamline workflows.
• Experience with document automation platforms and version control.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement automated templates and template packages for legal documents.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver automated solutions.
• Conduct routine audits of automated templates to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Assess current document workflows, identify gaps, and drive process improvements for efficiency and compliance.
• Maintain document templates and update to reflect changes in formatting and branding.
• Train and support attorneys and business professionals on document automation tools and best practices.
• Stay current on legal tech and Generative AI developments and translate trends into actionable insights for the team.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of firm-related information.
