Job summary

Hawks Cay Resort in Marathon, FL seeks an Associate Director of Sales to guide strategy, own a personal sales portfolio, and lead a high-performance team. The role requires cross-functional collaboration with Catering, Revenue Management, Marketing and Operations to maximize revenue and close high-value opportunities.

Responsibilities include developing the sales plan, managing key accounts, and representing the resort to clients and planners at events, with a focus on group, corporate, leisure

Qualifications

• 2+ years of progressive sales experience with leadership.
• Knowledge of travel and hospitality industry and market trends.
• Understanding of hotel operations related to sales, budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong written/verbal communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with group, corporate, association, leisure or wedding markets.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Sales in developing and executing the resort’s sales strategy.
• Maintain a personal sales portfolio and assigned market segment to achieve goals.
• Plan and lead sales activities including telemarketing, outside calls, and client entertainment.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through prospecting and events.
• Prepare persuasive proposals, contracts, and presentations for clients.
• Lead and coach sales team members and manage key accounts.
• Collaborate with Catering, Revenue Management, Marketing and Operations.
• Represent Hawks Cay Resort with clients, planners and industry partners.
