Job summary

JINYA Holdings Inc. in Woodland Hills, CA is seeking a talent-driven Controller / Senior Accounting Manager to own day-to-day accounting for a multi-unit restaurant and hospitality business.

You will lead the close, ensure GAAP compliance, and partner with operations and FP&A to drive accuracy and timeliness. The role requires a CPA, a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 5-15+ years in accounting with 3-5+ in supervision, and experience in hospitality or multi-location environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA certification required.
• 5-15+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 3-5+ years in supervisor/managerial roles.
• Hospitality/restaurant/ multi-unit experience a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Sage Intacct and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end accounting functions: GL, AP/AR, payroll, cash, fixed assets.
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
• Collaborate with operations, FP&A, and leadership on budgeting and analysis.
• Ensure GAAP compliance, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead audits and tax preparation processes.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Mentor accounting staff and develop team.
• Support M&A or IPO preparations with due diligence materials.
