Horizon Hospitality Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Controller / Senior Accounting Manager to lead its corporate accounting operations in Woodland Hills, CA.

You will oversee GL, AP, AR, payroll, and cash management while driving the close process and ensuring GAAP compliance. The role requires a CPA license and a Bachelor’s degree, plus a track record with high-volume AP (1,000+ invoices weekly) and strong communication.

Qualifications

• CPA license is required.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Proven experience with high-volume accounts payable (1,000+ invoices weekly).
• Strong communication skills and leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee GL, AP/AR, payroll, and cash management end-to-end.
• Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with GAAP compliance.
• Lead staff training on invoicing, system processes, and vendor documentation.
• Maintain internal controls and supervise audits and regulatory requirements.
• Manage high invoice volume while maintaining vendor relations.
• Mentor junior accounting personnel and support staff.
