Job summary

Schulte Hosptiality Group is seeking a dynamic Controller to lead finance and accounting for a growing hospitality portfolio. The role emphasizes internal controls, accurate reporting, and strategic financial leadership across multiple brands.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in accounting management within hospitality, a CPA preferred, and a deep understanding of GAAP and USALI. A strong team leader with excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Five (5) years of accounting management experience, preferably in hospitality.
• CPA preferred or considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure GAAP and USALI compliance across all departments.
• Safeguard assets and ensure timely recording of all transactions.
• Lead day-to-day accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing, payroll, and inventory.
• Develop and issue monthly financial records for executives and board.
• Provide financial analysis for ventures, capex, and costings.
• Communicate financial concepts clearly to drive actions.
• Manage banking relationships and credit resources.
• Monitor data accuracy (menu prices, revenue) and support targets.
• Interface with auditors, banks, insurers, and lenders.
• Provide leadership for finance and accounting across the organization.
• Participate as a member of the executive leadership team.
