Job summary

Schulte Hosptiality Group seeks a dynamic Controller to lead our accounting and finance functions within a hospitality-focused environment. The role requires strong GAAP/USALI knowledge, strategic leadership, and a track record of managing payroll, AP, cost accounting, and financial reporting for executive teams.

The Controller will drive monthly close, financial analysis, and cross-department collaboration to support growth and profitability across 200 locations and multi-brand operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Five (5) years of accounting management experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures GAAP and USALI compliance.
• Safeguard assets with internal controls and audits.
• Oversee AP, cash disbursements, invoicing, payroll, and cost accounting.
• Prepare timely monthly financials for exec team and Board.
• Ensure financial plans align with organizational goals.
• Provide financial analysis for ventures and capex.
• Communicate financial concepts clearly to drive action.
• Manage banking relationships and credit resources.
• Monitor data accuracy and support revenue goals.
• Interface with auditors, banks, and insurers.
• Provide leadership for finance across the organization.
• Participate in executive leadership team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
