You will oversee GL, AP, AR, payroll, and cash management while driving the close process and ensuring GAAP compliance. The role requires a CPA license and a Bachelor’s degree, plus a track record with high-volume AP (1,000+ invoices weekly) and strong communication.

Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end accounting functions including general ledger maintenance, heavy accounts payable operations, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash management.
• Drive the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure total accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
• Lead and educate operational staff and restaurant locations on invoice uploads, system processes, and vendor documentation.
• Maintain strict internal controls, oversee audit processes, and ensure full compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Manage heavy invoice volume efficiently to maintain seamless vendor relations and avoid supply delays.
• Mentor, train, and guide junior accounting personnel and support staff.

Position Requirements

• Active CPA license is required.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Proven track record managing high-volume Accounts Payable processes (handling 1,000+ invoices weekly).
• Strong, proactive communication skills with the ability to guide non-accounting operational staff.
• Ability to work on-site five days per week at the Woodland Hills, CA office.
• Fast-paced, adaptable mindset with strong operational multitasking capabilities.
• Base Salary: $145,000 - $160,000 (commensurate with title and experience)
• Annual Performance Bonus: Up to 15%
