Job summary

Morrisons is seeking an Area Manager – Hospitality to lead a high-performing team across up to 25 cafés, driving improvements in sales, customer satisfaction and operational standards. You will recruit, train and coach Café Managers and Team Leaders, manage schedules, analyse performance data, and partner with regional and central teams to deliver consistent results.

This role focuses on developing people, shaping the customer experience and implementing six-month plans to drive hospitality

Qualifications

• Experience leading Café teams across multiple sites.
• Strong knowledge of P&L and key retail metrics.
• Proven track record in hospitality operations.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop Café Managers and Team Leaders to ensure they are role models within the business.
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships with regional teams, store management, and central functions, ensuring operational alignment and driving continuous improvement.
• Shape the customer experience, using data and insights to implement changes that improve sales, customer satisfaction, and reduce complaints.
• Identify improvement opportunities across the business, from streamlining product processes to supporting new hospitality concepts, menu launches, and new store openings.
• Your ability to analyse management information and drive improvements based on data will be key to your success.
