Job summary

Morrisons is seeking a Site Manager to lead a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing site, reporting to the Head of Operations. You will manage a multidisciplinary team across Production, Technical, Engineering and Hygiene to drive performance and continuous improvement.

The role focuses on formulating manufacturing plans, building external partnerships, delivering growth with Morrisons and external customers, and ensuring high quality, compliant operations across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience of Site Manager/Director level in an FMCG manufacturing business.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry standards.
• Strong leadership with the ability to create a people-driven culture.
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
• Ability to drive performance improvements and think innovatively.
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders up to Executive Board level.
• Analytical thinking and sound commercial acumen.
• Ambition to achieve site excellence.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team across Production, Technical, Engineering and Hygiene.
• Formulate and implement the Manufacturing plan to drive performance improvement.
• Develop and implement growth plans with Morrisons and external customers including online.
• Create a strong customer service culture aligned with the Morrisons brand.
• Identify, develop and launch new product offers to meet customer needs.
• Define and deliver sourcing, packing and despatch plans to customers.
• Lead site-wide performance improvement initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance.
