Job summary

Havenwyck Hospital in Auburn Hills, Michigan, part of Universal Health Services, invites applications for a dynamic Supv - Eng Svcs, Housekeeping. You will lead environmental services efforts to maintain a clean, safe hospital environment for patients, families, and staff.

Under the Director of Plant Operations, you supervise EVS staff, schedule work, complete annual performance evaluations, provide orientation, ensure competency, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or high school diploma / GED required.
• Five (5)–ten (10) years of Housekeeping experience required; hospital setting preferred.
• One (1)–three (3) years of related management experience or minimum of five (5) years of team leader experience required.
• Must be a team player with excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Provision of satisfactory motor vehicle operation reports required.
• Employees must be in good standing to be considered for an internal transfer.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Environmental Services staff including scheduling, corrective actions, and annual performance evaluations.
• Provides department orientation for new Environmental Services staff and documents orientation completion.
• Completes performance improvement monitoring and problem solving resolutions.
• Completes a Housekeeping Assignment Daily.
