Job summary

Havenwyck Hospital in Auburn Hills, MI seeks a dynamic Supervisor - Eng Svcs, Housekeeping to lead Environmental Services across the hospital, outpatient, and residential centers. You will oversee staff, scheduling, orientation, and evaluations to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and order.

Under the Director’s supervision, you will implement compliance, monitor quality, and drive daily housekeeping assignments.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree, or high school diploma / GED required.
• Five (5) – ten (10) years of Housekeeping experience; hospital setting preferred.
• One (1) – three (3) years of related management experience or minimum of five (5) years of team leader experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Provision of satisfactory motor vehicle operation reports required.
• Employees must be in good standing for internal transfer.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Environmental Services staff, including scheduling, corrective actions, performance evaluations and in-service compliance.
• Provide department orientation for new Environmental Services staff and document completion; complete competency assessments.
• Complete performance improvement monitoring and problem solving resolutions.
• Complete a Housekeeping Assignment Daily.

Havenwyck Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Supv - Eng Svcs, Housekeeping to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals.

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Director of Plant Operations, works as a team member to provide a high state of cleanliness and order throughout the Hospital, Outpatient, and Residential Treatment Center. Manages and executes all aspects and duties of Environmental Services.

Duties and responsibilities, to include; but are not limited to:

• Provides supervision of the Environmental Services staff including scheduling, corrective actions, completing annual performance evaluations and assuring compliance with mandatory in-service requirements.
• Provides department orientation for new Environmental Services staff and ensures documentation of orientation completion is submitted to Human Resources. Completes competency assessments of staff.
• Completes performance improvement monitoring and problem solving resolutions.
• Completes a Housekeeping Assignment Daily
