Job summary

Ideal Homes is seeking a driven professional to manage the construction of single-family homes in Norman, OK. You will oversee field teams, coordinate trade contractors, and ensure homes are built to specification, on time, and within budget.

Excellent leadership, communication, and plan-reading skills are required. We offer competitive base salary, builder bonuses, health and retirement benefits, paid vacation, and profit sharing, along with ongoing training and mentoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred.
• Experience in construction processes desired.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for building up to 20 high quality homes at one time.
• Coordinate, direct, and schedule work of trade contractors and suppliers.
• Maintain a clean, safe job site during construction.
• Inspect homes to ensure quality and adherence to plans and budgets.
• Monitor progress and communicate with Division Manager to prevent delays.
• Review plans with division teams and ensure compliance with standards.
• Lead and mentor field staff to maintain high performance.
