Job summary
Audio Video Connections in Tulsa is seeking an experienced AV technician, low-voltage technician, or smart home installer who can handle installs independently and progress toward a lead role. The role covers residential and commercial AV projects across Northeast Oklahoma with hands-on installation and systems programming.
You’ll work on mounting TVs, distributing audio, configuring networks, and integrating lighting, HVAC control, and security systems.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of AV, low-voltage, smart-home, security, or network installation experience.
- Familiar with residential AV systems, distributed audio, and home automation.
- Ability to work independently on installs and service calls.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable in attics, crawl spaces, and active construction sites.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Responsibilities
- Mount TVs and install home theater systems.
- Hook up and configure audio/video equipment.
- Program control systems for integrated systems.
- Install and troubleshoot WiFi, networking, and routers.
- Install surveillance cameras and security systems.
- Set up lighting control and motorized shades.
