Job summary

Optomi is seeking an experienced Hogan Software Engineer to support enterprise banking applications on a 100% remote basis (EST hours) under a W2 contract for 12 months. The role focuses on developing, maintaining, and enhancing core banking systems and troubleshooting production issues to ensure performance and reliability.

You will work with Hogan Core Banking Systems (CIS, IDS, DDA, TDA, PAS, Umbrella) and ServiceNow, participate in Agile and Waterfall lifecycles, and provide on-call

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 4+ years of software development experience.
• Strong experience with enterprise software apps and supporting production systems.
• Hands-on with Hogan Core Banking Systems (CIS, IDS, DDA, TDA, PAS, Umbrella).
• Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow or similar IT ticketing systems.
• Experience with SDLC methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).
• Ability to participate in a 24/7 on-call schedule.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise banking applications and core financial systems.
• Support Hogan banking applications (CIS, IDS, DDA, TDA, PAS, Umbrella).
• Analyze requirements and translate specifications into enhancements.
• Design, develop, test, and implement software changes and new features.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Provide ongoing production support and participate in 24/7 on-call on a rotating basis.
• Use ServiceNow or similar tools to track incidents and changes.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure functionality and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders during Agile/Waterfall lifecycles.
