Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• Licensed CPA or working toward CPA certification with parts passed.
• Masters of Science in Taxation preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of founders/tech executives topics such as QSBS, equity compensation, pass-through entities, international tax or related matters preferred.
• At least 4 years of public accounting experience.
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects.
• Strong leadership, mentoring skills and excellent verbal/written/presentation abilities.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, project management skills with attention to detail and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Leading preparation and review of complex high-net-worth individual, fiduciary, gift and estate tax returns.
• Conducting advanced tax research and drafting technical memoranda.
• Designing and implementing tax planning strategies for wealth preservation and succession planning.
• Serving as a trusted advisor and managing client relationships.
• Mentoring and supervising staff, fostering technical development and teamwork.
• Collaborating with partners on client engagements and business development.
• Ensuring compliance with evolving federal, state, local tax regulations.
• Contributing to process improvements and leveraging technology.
• Engaging in firm-wide initiatives and continuing education.
