Job summary

Withum's Tax Services Group seeks a High Net Worth Tax Supervisor to lead complex engagements, from planning to completion, while mentoring staff and managing client relations.

You will conduct advanced tax research, design planning strategies for founders and tech executives, and ensure compliance across federal, state, and local taxes. Collaboration with partners on engagements and business development is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Licensed CPA or in progress with parts passed preferred.
• 4+ years of public accounting experience.
• Excellent client service and communication skills; ability to manage multiple engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and review of complex high-net-worth returns, fiduciary, gift and estate tax returns.
• Conduct advanced tax research and draft technical memoranda.
• Design and implement tax planning strategies for founders and tech executives.
• Maintain client relationships through proactive communication and service.
• Mentor and supervise staff; foster teamwork and technical growth.
• Collaborate with partners on client engagements and business development.
• Ensure compliance with evolving federal/state/local tax regulations.
