Job summary

SAI Consulting Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager (Highways) to lead highway design and project management efforts for PennDOT, PTC, and local municipalities.

The role focuses on managing scopes, schedules, and budgets while coordinating internal teams and subconsultants. The ideal candidate will have a PE license and 8+ years of highway design experience, with strong leadership, communication, and business development skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in highway design and project management.
• BS or MS in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer’s License.
• Knowledge of PennDOT and PTC design processes.
• Ability to meet schedules and control budgets.
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment as a team leader.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Planning, defining, and monitoring project scope-of-work, schedules, and budgets to ensure client and SAI expectations are met.
• Management of internal project teams and subconsultants.

• Implementing business development initiatives, including proposal writing, presentation development/delivery, and participation in marketing meetings.
