Job summary

Pennoni is seeking a Senior Highway Engineer and Project Manager for the Transportation Division at its Lehigh Valley, PA office. The role focuses on managing complex highway projects, coordinating with clients and reviewing agencies, and delivering PennDOT PS&E documentation.

Ideal candidates will lead drainage permitting efforts, mentor engineers, develop budgets, and support proposals and marketing. A PA PE license and 8–12 years of experience are preferred, with MicroStation and AutoCAD

• Plan phases of engineering design projects.
• Ability to use MicroStation and AutoCAD.
• 8–12 years of work experience.
• PA Professional Engineer license.
• Familiarity with PennDOT and Turnpike standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Opportunity spotting to improve work products.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex highway engineering projects.
• Coordinate with project team, clients, and reviewing agencies.
• Prepare PennDOT PS&E documentation.
• Lead Drainage Permitting applications.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and staff.
