Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience/knowledge of PennDOT design criteria.
• Ability to plan, budget, and schedule preparation on all phases of an engineering design project.
• Ability to work independently or with teams.
• Experience working with clients and teaming partners.
• Efficient use of engineering software including ORD and 3D modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Manage the development of transportation infrastructure projects, including client coordination.
• Coordinate field work, design calculations, plan preparation, quantity calculations, and submissions to clients.
• Supervise and mentor staff in geometry design, cross sections, grading plans, erosion and sediment control, hydrology and drainage calculations.
• Participate in the development of proposals and statements of interest for future projects.
• Responsible for the scope, schedule and budget of the project.
