Job summary

HNTB is seeking a seasoned Construction Manager/Project Manager to coordinate field construction administration across Pennsylvania transportation projects. You will lead multi-discipline teams, manage schedules and budgets, and drive project delivery using HNTB’s SDA and related processes.

The role requires a BA/BS in CM, Architecture, or Engineering with extensive highway experience, and a track record of successful client engagement and team leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a relevant degree with 10 years of relevant experience, or 14 years of relevant experience in lieu of education.
• Experience managing highway/bridge projects and familiarity with PennDOT/PTC processes.
• Experience leading project teams, coordinating with Architects/Engineers, and delivering on schedule and budget.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope, fee quotation, and assist in proposal and contract preparation.
• Coordinate project activities, establish priorities, monitor progress, and respond to RFI with timely solutions.
• Oversee project controls, schedule coordination, and review submittals for conformance.
• Implement project delivery plans and lead development and execution of the project management plan.
• Mentor team, manage change orders, cost control, and ensure quality within discipline.
• Support business development and client relationships for pipeline projects.
• Recruitment and development of construction staff as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
