Job summary

HNTB is seeking a senior construction manager to coordinate field construction administration and delivery for large highway projects in Pennsylvania. You’ll lead project teams, monitor progress, and ensure schedules and budgets align with contract requirements.

Applicants should have a PE/CCM or equivalent experience, a strong background in transportation projects, and a track record of delivering on-time, on-budget outcomes. This is an on-site role across multiple PA locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 14+ years of experience in construction management.
• PE and CCM credentials are preferred for leadership on highway projects.
• Experience with PennDOT or major turnpike projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope, fee quotes, and assist in proposals and contracts.
• Coordinate project activities, set priorities, and supervise staff.
• Monitor progress, resolve field issues, and respond to RFI requests.
• Oversee project controls, schedules, and submittal reviews.
• Lead project delivery plans and mentor the project team.
• Support business development and client relationship activities.
