Job summary

HNTB is seeking an experienced construction program manager for Pennsylvania projects, including highways and bridges. The role focuses on field construction administration, cost control, and coordination with clients and engineers across multiple PA locations.

The successful candidate will lead project teams, develop proposals, and ensure delivery on time and budget while applying HNTB's sophisticated contracting and delivery approaches. On-site work in PA is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience or 14 years of relevant experience in lieu of education.
• PennDOT and Pennsylvania Turnpike experience preferred.
• Experience with project delivery and construction management processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope and fee quotations; assist in proposals and contracts per SDA.
• Coordinate project activities, establish priorities, staff, and monitor schedules.
• Oversee project controls; review schedules and contractor progress.
• Review submittals for conformance to plans and specs; manage cost-effective strategies.
• Lead development and execution of the project management plan; mentor team.
• Provide change order estimates, negotiate costs, and write change orders.
• Support business development and client relationships for major projects.
