Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering with 10+ years of experience, including supervisory experience; PE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required with 10+ years of experience including 2+ years in supervision.
• PE certification preferred or required depending on project scope; Master’s degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages the department's operating budget and forecast updates.
• Leads the engineering department's growth, staff development, and performance management.
• Coordinates department activities, sets priorities, and assigns staff to projects.
• Ensures staff mentoring, training needs are met and cross‑department collaboration is enabled.
• Supports strategic planning and the SSA process on pursuits and contract reviews.
• Oversees project delivery processes including Work Planning, Monthly Project Reviews, and quality control.
• Participates in marketing activities: client discovery, proposals, interviews, and win-to-work efforts.
• Recruits and retains department staff; leads performance reviews and succession planning.
• Manages scope, schedule, budget, and quality across multiple projects and teams.
