Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson seeks a Highway Project Manager for the Richmond, VA highways team to lead project objectives, scope development, schedules, and budgets for roadway programs.

The role requires a PE license and 15+ years in transportation; familiarity with VDOT criteria and design software is essential. Salary range $140,000-$180,000 plus benefits, with full-time employment in-office in Richmond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited engineering program.
• Professional Engineer License.
• 15+ years' experience in a specialized transportation discipline.
• Recent knowledge of VDOT design criteria/manuals and CADD design software (Open Roads Designer and/or MicroStation with 3D modeling).

Responsibilities

• Monitor schedules, budgets, receivables, and manpower; direct invoice preparation.
• Develop project management plans and scopes of service.
• Establish pricing and budgets; create and maintain schedules.
• Lead client meetings and oversee project staff; manage subconsultants.
