Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson's Richmond team is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead engineering design across highways projects, interpreting and coordinating work with limited supervision.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, 5–10 years in the field, and proficiency in OpenRoads 3D Modeling, MicroStation, and MS Office; PE preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 5–10 years’ experience in a specialized discipline.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate phases of engineering work on projects.
• Analyze survey data and drawings to plan projects.
• Design projects using OpenRoads 3D Modeling and MicroStation.
• Prepare engineering documents for advertisement and construction.
• Prepare proposals and attend client meetings.
• Coordinate with internal teams to meet deadlines and quality standards.
