Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead highway/roadway projects and programs. You will develop scopes, schedules, budgets, and marketing efforts for diverse delivery methods, including design-build and P3.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in transportation engineering, a PE license, and expertise in VDOT standards, OpenRoads/MicroStation, and team leadership. This position offers strong growth in a 100% employee-owned firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program required.
• Professional Engineer License required.
• 10+ years of experience in the transportation/engineering field.
• Knowledge of VDOT design criteria/manuals and procedures; CAD design software experience (Open Roads Designer and/or MicroStation with 3D modeling) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop project management plans and scopes of service to meet client goals.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, invoicing, and manpower requirements.
• Establish project pricing and budgets; create and maintain schedules.
• Lead or participate in client meetings and presentations; coordinate with stakeholders.
• Manage subconsultants and project team, ensuring quality control of deliverables.
• Support marketing and proposal development for new pursuits.
