Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (JMT) seeks a Project/Program Manager for our Richmond, VA highways team to lead marketing, development, and management of project objectives, scopes, schedules, and budgets for roadway programs and standalone projects.

The role requires ABET engineering degree, PE license, 15+ years in transportation disciplines, and familiarity with VDOT design criteria and CADD tools such as Open Roads Designer or MicroStation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited engineering program.
• PE license is required.
• 15+ years of experience in transportation-related disciplines.
• Recent knowledge of VDOT design criteria/manuals and procedures, and CADD software such as Open Roads Designer and/or MicroStation with 3D modeling experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project schedules and budgets and direct invoicing.
• Develop project management plans for assigned projects.
• Develop and manage scopes of service to meet client goals.
• Establish project pricing and budgets.
• Create and maintain project schedules and quality plans.
• Manage subconsultants and project staff.
• Lead client meetings and presentations and coordinate marketing proposals.
