Artheon is seeking a qualified construction inspector to join our team in East Brunswick, NJ. The role focuses on on-site highway construction inspection, ensuring conformance with project plans and specifications, and coordinating with subcontractors and the project team.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, NICET III, and 5+ years of heavy highway/bridge inspection experience, plus NJDOT/NJTA familiarity and OSHA 10.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
• NICET Level III Highway Construction required.
• ACI, TCC, CCTC, and NJSAT certifications required.
• 5+ years of heavy highway/bridge construction inspection experience.
• Experience with NJDOT/NJTA projects required.
• OSHA 10-hour safety training required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; time-management; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Monitors contractor operations and verifies conformance with plans.
• Acts as on-site highway inspector for construction work.
• Interacts with site supervision to ensure contract compliance.
• Prepares daily reports, change orders, and payment estimates.
• Documents work with photos and field data uploads.
• Applies technical standards and codes to field activities.
• Discusses projects with the project team daily.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including night shifts/weekends.
