Job summary

Artheon is seeking an experienced Construction Inspector to join our team on heavy highway, bridge and road projects in New Jersey. You will perform daily site inspections, monitor safety, and verify conformity with plans, specs and MPT rules.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of heavy highway experience, NICET II or higher, and strong written communication. Proficiency with MS Office and agency record systems is essential, and a valid vehicle is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in heavy highway construction.
• NICET II and above, ACI Field Grade I, NJSAT and Rutgers TCC certifications.
• Ability to read complex blueprints and write clear reports.
• Familiarity with agency electronic record systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance: Observe work to ensure conformance to specifications and safety rules.
• Document Control: Prepare daily inspection reports and maintain material logs.
• Safety & Compliance: Monitor work zones for proper safety measures and regulatory compliance.
• Project Administration: Assist in processing submittals and tracking pay items.
