Job summary

DCS Asset Maintenance is seeking an experienced estimator to support growth in performance-based maintenance contracting for roadways and bridges. You will prepare detailed estimates for bids by gathering information, analyzing data, and presenting options to leadership for decision-making.

The ideal candidate has advanced numerical skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to manage relationships with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience as estimator or similar position, with highway or structures asset maintenance considered a plus.
• Strong financial and project management knowledge.
• Advanced math and data analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Understand performance-based maintenance contracting and project requirements.
• Gather data from sites, suppliers, subcontractors, and operators.
• Perform data analysis, modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Review offers and quotes from subcontractors or vendors.
• Prepare and submit estimate reports and bids to leadership.
• Present bids to executives and build relationships with key vendors.
