Job summary

Centurion, an Atwell company, is seeking a Senior Field Technician to lead testing, inspection, and commissioning activities for electrical equipment and systems, including substations and datacenters, primarily in Oregon, Pacific Northwest. Technicians typically work four to five weeks on with a week off.

You will train and guide entry- to mid-level technicians, conduct testing, manage tools, and support project managers with scheduling and budgeting while ensuring safety and quality in field

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 7+ years of electrical field experience.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and comply with client testing.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. (E-Verify or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor entry- to mid-level technicians through formal sessions and on-the-job training.
• Perform visual and mechanical inspections and electrical testing on standard equipment and circuits, including relays and power quality.
• Assist project managers with scheduling, budgeting, and billing; initiate change orders when scope exceeds.
• Oversee upkeep and calibration of electrical test equipment; organize tools and materials for efficient execution.
• Flag issues, propose corrective actions, and review final test reports and data sheets for submittal.
