Job summary

Centurion is seeking a Junior Field Technician to lead testing, inspection, and commissioning across electrical equipment including substations and datacenters. The role will predominantly operate in the Pacific Northwest, mainly Oregon, with four to five weeks on-site followed by a week off.

The ideal candidate has 1–5+ years in electrical fields, strong documentation skills, and the ability to work independently in the field. NETA certification is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and strong documentation discipline.
• NETA certification is highly preferred.
• Clear, professional communication with clients and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently in the field while coaching others.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing, inspection, and commissioning across electrical equipment and systems (substations, datacenters).
• Assist PMs with scheduling, budgeting, and billing; handle Change Orders when scope expands.
• Oversee upkeep, calibration, and readiness of test equipment; stage tools/materials for execution.
• Flag issues, propose corrective actions, and review final test reports for submittal.
