Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer for High Voltage Power Packs to lead global requirements rollout and strategy across HV power outlets and related 12V hardware. You will work with cross-functional teams to define a product roadmap, mentor engineers, and ensure packaging and design guidelines are followed.

This role emphasizes innovation, supplier collaboration, DFMEA, and testing support, with travel as required and a focus on delivering safe, reliable high-voltage solutions

Qualifications

• Experience with high/low voltage power systems in automotive hardware.
• Experience managing suppliers for hardware, testing and systems integration.
• Strong communication and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead rollout of global requirements and strategy for HV power packs.
• Develop design guidelines and criteria for outlets.
• Collaborate across design, engineering, and suppliers for roadmap.
• Mentor DREs and support QA activities.
• Support component and vehicle level testing and development.
