Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in power electronics, embedded controls, or electrified-vehicle tech.
• Hands-on experience with production DC/DC converters, onboard chargers, or related power-conversion systems.
• Strong fundamentals in feedback control, stability, protection, and fault handling.
• Experience translating system requirements into controls, software, calibration, and verification plans.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional decisions and influence without direct authority.

Aufgaben

• Define controls architecture and operating modes for voltage/current regulation and power management.
• Derive controller requirements based on system performance and drive controller selection.
• Translate system requirements into control, software, calibration, diagnostic, and interface needs.
• Balance efficiency, transient response, stability, thermal performance, EMC, safety, and cost.
• Design diagnostic monitoring, fault thresholds, degraded modes, safe-state behavior, and recovery strategies.
• Lead collaboration with calibration and software teams on parameter definition, tuning, and model-based development.
• Lead controls integration across converter hardware, embedded software, battery systems, and vehicle energy management.
• Plan and review simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, lab, and vehicle verification; rely on data for decisions.
• Lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions for controls, performance, and vehicle integration.
