Intersect Power seeks a senior leader to drive strategy, governance, and operations for high-voltage infrastructure across its growing utility-scale fleet in the United States. You will lead a specialized team responsible for HV maintenance, emergency response, and diagnostics, partnering with Engineering, Reliability, and Compliance to improve operability and grid resilience.

Qualificações

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering required, Power Systems emphasis preferred
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license strongly preferred
• 15+ years of high-voltage engineering and operations experience
• Proven experience leading and scaling field-based HV maintenance teams
• Deep expertise in SEL relay protection and protection system troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of substation equipment maintenance and related infrastructure
• Experience with transformer oil analysis (DGA), SF6 management, and HV diagnostics
• Familiarity with IEEE 1584 and NFPA 70E standards
• Experience supporting NERC-related maintenance and compliance

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop a fleet-wide team of HV technicians, maintaining safety culture and QEW standards
• Direct execution of complex HV maintenance activities, including breaker timing, transformer inspections, SF6 handling, and advanced diagnostics
• Coordinate workforce mobilization for planned outages, emergency recoveries, and major repair events
• Establish and reinforce a zero-defect execution culture focused on precision, safety, and asset availability
• Partner with Reliability to support HV maintenance strategies, resource planning, and execution standards
• Serve as operational authority during engineering reviews to optimize substations and protection systems
• Maintain and govern Golden Records for relay settings and coordination studies
• Lead technical investigations and response efforts related to relay operations and fault events
• Develop and maintain HV Emergency Response strategy and spare parts readiness
• Manage third-party HV contractors to ensure alignment with standards
• Support rapid restoration and maintain fleet reliability
• Review arc flash studies per IEEE 1584 and NFPA 70E; translate analyses into procedures and PPE requirements
• Oversee arc flash labeling program and risk reduction initiatives
• Provide electrical safety training and mentorship
