Job summary

Asobbi Ltd. seeks a High Voltage Maintenance Engineer to support the design, operation and long-term reliability of large-scale data centre infrastructure.

You will work across high-voltage substations and medium-voltage distribution systems, providing hands-on support and independent review across design, commissioning and ongoing maintenance. The role requires a strong background in HV substations, MV distribution, protection and control systems, and the ability to read electrical schematics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
• Strong background in HV substations and MV distribution.

Responsibilities

• Support HV/MV electrical design, construction, installation and commissioning.
• Review drawings, technical reports and engineering documentation as the Owner’s representative.
• Provide technical support to site operations and maintenance teams.
• Troubleshoot transformers, circuit breakers, protection relays and associated electrical systems.
• Carry out root cause analysis and technical investigations.
• Monitor system performance, capacity and reliability.
• Develop maintenance procedures, equipment specifications and spare parts strategies.
• Work closely with technicians and site teams, including hands-on support when required.
