Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated seeks a Senior High Voltage Electrical Engineer to lead the design of HV/MV systems for hyperscale data centers and mission-critical facilities. You will oversee substation layouts, protective relaying, and generation integration, guiding the project from concept through commissioning.

You will coordinate with utilities, perform system studies, and mentor engineers while ensuring NEC/IEEE compliance and data center reliability targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• 8-12 years of progressive electrical engineering experience with high voltage systems.
• PE license in good standing or ability to obtain licensure in multiple states.
• Deep expertise in medium voltage (4.16kV-35kV) and high voltage (69kV-230kV) design and utility interconnection.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and engineering of high voltage systems for hyperscale data centers.
• Architect and review substation layouts, protection schemes, and control systems.
• Coordinate with utilities for interconnection and regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
