Job summary
Asobbi Ltd. seeks a High Voltage Maintenance Engineer to support the design, operation and long-term reliability of large-scale data centre infrastructure.
You will work across high-voltage substations and medium-voltage distribution systems, providing hands-on support and independent review across design, commissioning and ongoing maintenance. The role requires a strong background in HV substations, MV distribution, protection and control systems, and the ability to read electrical schematics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
- Strong background in HV substations and MV distribution.
Responsibilities
- Support HV/MV electrical design, construction, installation and commissioning.
- Review drawings, technical reports and engineering documentation as the Owner’s representative.
- Provide technical support to site operations and maintenance teams.
- Troubleshoot transformers, circuit breakers, protection relays and associated electrical systems.
- Carry out root cause analysis and technical investigations.
- Monitor system performance, capacity and reliability.
- Develop maintenance procedures, equipment specifications and spare parts strategies.
- Work closely with technicians and site teams, including hands-on support when required.

You’ll work across high-voltage substations and medium-voltage distribution systems, supporting everything from design reviews and commissioning through to troubleshooting, maintenance strategy and operational improvements.
- Support HV/MV electrical design, construction, installation and commissioning
- Review drawings, technical reports and engineering documentation as the Owner’s representative
- Provide technical support to site operations and maintenance teams
- Troubleshoot transformers, circuit breakers, protection relays and associated electrical systems
- Carry out root cause analysis and technical investigations
