Job summary

Vertex seeks a Senior Director of Hematology - West to lead an expansive field engagement organization from Michigan through Texas to California. You will shape strategy, translate priorities into field execution, and build capabilities to sustain performance and patient impact.

You will coach and develop GTAM/HTM teams, optimize coverage, and coordinate with treatment centers, providers, and cross-functional partners to deliver a consistent and exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is required.
• 12 years' experience in a senior healthcare or biopharma role preferred.
• 3 years of people management experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the field-based Hematology teams (GTAM/HTM) and set national/local strategy.
• Coach, mentor, and develop field teams to deliver high performance.
• Ensure coordination across treatment centers, referring providers, and community territories.
