Vertex Pharmaceuticals LLC is seeking a Senior Director, Head of Center Engagement - Heme/Cell & Genetic Therapies - West. This field-based role oversees GTAM and HTM teams across Michigan, Texas, and California, shaping strategy and improving patient and provider engagement within hematology.

The role requires a strong track record in cross-functional leadership, healthcare expertise, and people management, with a focus on compliant, data-driven field execution and performance optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline.
• 12 years’ experience in the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7 years’ experience in healthcare industry.
• 3 years people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead field teams (GTAM/HTM) and set national hematology field strategy across centers, providers, and communities.
• Coach, develop, and manage teams; ensure compliant coordination with treatment centers and patient journeys.
• Translate priorities into clear field objectives, territory plans, and measurable outcomes.
• Oversee day-to-day field execution: engagement, planning, performance reviews, and cross-functional coordination.
• Identify opportunities from performance data to adapt strategy and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate regular business reviews with leadership and stakeholders.
