Vertex Pharmaceuticals Incorporated seeks a Senior Director of Hematology - West to lead the field-based customer engagement organization, including GTAM and HTM, across MI, TX, to CA. The role sets strategy, translates priorities into field plans, and builds capabilities to sustain performance and expand patient impact.

The incumbent will coach, mentor, and develop teams, ensure compliant coordination with treatment centers, and deliver a consistent end-to-end patient journey.

Qualifications

• Experience with coordinating plans across stakeholders (Account Management, Medical).
• Ability to translate business priorities into field objectives and plans.
• Proven track record in coaching and performance management within teams.

Responsibilities

• Executes national Hematology field strategy across centers and providers.
• Leads and develops GTAM and HTM field teams.
• Ensures coordination between field teams to align customer needs and patient journey.
• Translates priorities into clear objectives, plans, and measurable outcomes.
• Optimizes structure, coverage, resources, and ways of working for impact.
• Oversees day-to-day field execution and cross-functional coordination.
