Vertex Pharmaceuticals Incorporated seeks a Senior Director of Hematology - West to lead field-based customer engagement across Gene Therapy Account Managers and Hematology Territory Managers from Michigan to California. You will set strategy, coach teams, and optimize engagement with treatment centers, referring providers and patient pathways.

You will translate priorities into concrete field plans, build capabilities, and drive performance with accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• 12 years' combined education and experience in healthcare is expected.
• 3 years of people management experience.

Responsabilités

• Execute national Hematology field strategy across centers and providers.
• Lead and develop GTAM and HTM teams with coaching and mentoring.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure consistent customer experience.
• Translate business priorities into field objectives and territory plans.
• Oversee day-to-day field execution, including coaching and performance reviews.
• Build team capability through onboarding and leadership development.
• Drive continuous improvement using performance and patient Journey data.
• Partner with stakeholders to remove barriers and sustain performance.
