Job summary

BeyondSOF is seeking a full-time, in-person customer support specialist to assist the Virginia State Police by handling inquiries via telephone and email. You will become familiar with VSP services, answer questions from the public and agencies, identify root causes, and track requests to provide effective solutions.

The role requires advanced computer skills, strong communication abilities, and experience with Microsoft Office products.

Qualifications

• Advanced computer skills are required.

• Strong customer relations skills and good verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist and provide customer support by telephone, email and other means.
• Answer questions from the public, business, government agencies and others.
• Identify root causes of problems and implement solutions by gathering and analyzing information.
• Track incoming calls and email requests for assistance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
