Job summary

Artheon is seeking an experienced Construction Inspector for projects across New Jersey. You will oversee heavy highway, bridge, and road construction, ensuring adherence to plans, specs, and safety regulations, and maintain daily logs and material testing records.

The role requires reading blueprints, strong written communication, and familiarity with NJ agency record systems. Travel with a personal vehicle is expected, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality control.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Heavy Highway construction.
• Certifications: NICET II or higher, ACI Field Grade I, NJSAT, Rutgers TCC.
• Ability to read complex blueprints and prepare reports.

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance: Inspect heavy highway, bridge, and road work for conformance.
• Document Control: Prepare daily reports and logs of materials and progress.
• Safety & Compliance: Monitor work zones per MPT standards and OSHA rules.
• Project Administration: Assist Resident Engineers with submittals and estimates.
