Job summary

Artheon seeks an experienced Construction Inspector to join our team in New Jersey, focusing on heavy highway, bridge, and road projects. Responsibilities include daily site inspections, material testing, and maintenance of material and progress logs to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.

Key duties also include documenting site activities, ensuring MPT and OSHA compliance, and assisting Resident Engineers with submittals, pay items, and monthly estimates.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Heavy Highway construction
• NICET II and above, ACI Field Grade I
• Knowledge of NJDOT/NJ Turnpike standards required

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance: Inspect paving, drainage and structural elements on site per specs.
• Document Control: Prepare daily inspection reports and logs of materials and quantities.
• Safety & Compliance: Monitor work zones for safety, MPT compliance and OSHA regulations.
• Project Administration: Assist Resident Engineers with submittals and monthly estimates.
