Job summary

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of diesel-powered heavy equipment repair experience preferred.
• Ability to read/use schematics and diagrams; experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; graduation from a diesel technology program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
• Disassemble and assemble machine components to manufacturer specifications.
• Rebuild, repair, and maintain construction equipment and components.
• Provide mentoring and training to others; communicate customer needs to shop management.
• Plan and control cost of repair jobs; complete parts orders and identify parts for return.
