Job summary

Pike Industries, Inc., a CRH Company, is looking for a Lead Mechanic - Equipment in Westbrook, ME to service and repair heavy equipment on site and at jobsites.

The role involves troubleshooting across dump trucks, pavers, reclaimers, milling machines, loaders, graders, dozers and rollers, with potential night shifts and a strong benefits package. CDL is desirable and safety training is provided.

Qualifications

• CDL is a plus for field travel to jobsites.
• Ability to plan work procedures and coordinate with management.
• Experience in safety training and toolbox talks are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to fields and shops; CDL a plus.
• Plan work procedures and PM with Equipment Manager.
• Troubleshoot and maintain heavy equipment: trucks, pavers, reclaimers, milling machines, loaders, graders, dozers and rollers.
• Examine equipment with superintendent and operator.
• Lead safety talks and enforce company policies.
• Coordinate with manufacturers on new technology.
